Since 2013, Friends of Center Street Park has hosted annual spring cleanups during which volunteers work to beautify Center Street Park. Activities include picking up litter, painting projects, planting flower gardens, mulching, and installing new picnic benches. We thank all our volunteers for their hard work in improving our neighborhood park!

Join us for our Annual Fall Fest in Center Street Park! 

We are really excited to bring back our annual Fall Fest to the park! This year’s event will include live music, food, beverage concession by Vennture Brewing, pumpkin sales, and several activities for children. We can't wait to see you there!

2025-26 Season

Update (December 4, 2025): The rink is officially open and ready to use! Please skate safely and create space for everyone to enjoy the ice. We will post updates on skate lending as soon as we can coordinate dates with Milwaukee County Parks and volunteers.

Family Skate Night | Friday December 19th from 6-8pm

The Friends of Center St Park will be lending skates, for free, from 6-8pm on Friday December 19th. Free hot chocolate will be also be available along with a nice warm fire in the park pavilion. Come on down to the park to kick off winter park with your family, friends, and neighbors!

Note: we will schedule additional Family Skate Nights throughout the winter (based on volunteer availability and ice/weather conditions). Check this page regularly for updates!
